Whether you're considering hosting your wedding at Barn on the Bay, have already booked your date, or you're a foodie looking for a delicious night out, the Barn on the Bay Supper Club with Dotty in the Kitchen is the place to be! Dotty is a supper club host and private chef based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. She has been working with the team at Barn on the Bay to help them develop a delicious, seasonal menu which puts quality produce and fantastic flavours first.

Dotty’s cooking is inspired by the seasons and the belief that food should help bring people together to create memories. No more uninspiring menus; no more brown buffets; no more tired old dishes haven't changed in decades. Join us at the Barn on the Bay Supper Club for a flavour of what great wedding food can taste like.

The night starts from 6.30 in The Old Dog and Duck, our rustic bar in the barn, with cocktail hour. After supping one of our delicious autumnal cocktails, you'll be seated at one of our long trestle tables ready for your meal. The menu has been designed to share. The meal will start with our signature Barn on the Bay platter containing a medley of delights from the barn, from the bay and from the kitchen garden. Then we move on to the main event: a hearty, warming dish of locally sourced ox cheeks and porcini, cooked until the meat just melts. There'll be side dishes galore too and plenty of options for vegetarians. We finish the meal with chocolate, of course, in the form of a chocolate and olive oil torte before slipping back to the bar for coffee and a digestif to end the night.

The Supper Club will take place on Saturday 30th October from 6.30pm onwards. Tickets are limited and pre-booking is essential. Dinner will be served as a set menu and as such we will be unable to accommodate dietary requirements or allergies on this occasion. A vegetarian option is available.
