I'm Dorothy, founder and Head Chef of the small, independent catering company Dotty in the Kitchen.
We specialise in Private Dining, helping you to host seriously special and memorable events for your family, friends and loved ones in your home, holiday accommodation or venue across the North East of England.
We are a small but mighty female led team. We can turn our hand to all sorts - from an intimate private dinner for two, to catering a wedding in a barn for 100! From the moment you get in touch our approach is hands on and personalised. We will work with you to craft a totally bespoke menu that really speaks to you and meets the vision for your event.
Dotty in the Kitchen was founded from a love of food, the way it fluctuates and moves with the seasons. We champion seasonal and local produce in all of our menus. From our signature sandwich buffets to our most premium canapés, we use only exclusively British, high welfare meat and as much local and organic produce as we can get our hands on. This way we know that quality will speak for itself.
Every event is so unique and we take great pride in working with you to curate a beautiful, memorable experience from the food on your plate to the service that you receive.
