Sustainability and Privacy Policy

Sustainability

Dotty in the Kitchen is committed to operating in a sustainable and environmentally responsible way. We aim to reduce the impact on the environment in the way that we operate, and to help educate our clients in order to contribute to a more sustainable future.

Key areas of focus:

  • Energy: We will take steps to reduce our  energy and water consumption where possible by using energy efficient appliances. We are also committed to using an energy provider who invests in renewable and sustainable fuels.

  • Waste: We will minimise waste by using reusable or recyclable packaging on our food products (where applicable). In 2023 we also hope to be able to begin composting our food waste.

  • Local and High Welfare Produce: Using local and high welfare produce is an core value for Dotty in the Kitchen. Reducing food miles, supporting local providers who are themselves committed to sustainable and ethical food systems and cooking with the seasons are some of the ways that we put our values into action. We also love to share this knowledge with our team members and our clients.

  • Responsible Sourcing: We will source our ingredients and supplies from suppliers who share our commitment to sustainability and who employ responsible and ethical practices.
