About the event

Looking for a cookery workshop that's fun and approachable that will also teach you some really useful skills and recipes? Dotty's Cooking With series of workshops is the perfect place to start. 

This workshop will arm you with the skills and techniques to begin working with fresh, local fish. It will give you the confidence to buy, prepare, cook and serve fresh fish at home. 

The class will last two and a half hours, during which time you’ll learn to prepare three different types of fish: shellfish, white fish and one other seafood. (The fish we prepare will depend on market availability). We will use these fish to prepare a delicious, fresh seafood dish along with a vegetable side dish.

Once we have prepared our dishes, we will enjoy our meal together in my tasting room. You are welcome to bring your own alcoholic beverages, if you wish. Tea, coffee and soft drinks are included.

You will be provided with recipes to take away, as well as a host of extra notes from Dotty to help you recreate the dishes at home.

This is a fun, lighthearted workshop and you don't need to be a pro-foodie to attend and enjoy!
