About the event

Looking for a cookery workshop that's fun and approachable that will also teach you some really useful skills and recipes? Dotty's Cooking With series of workshops is the perfect place to start. 

This workshop will arm you with the bascis of butchery. You will learn how to butcher a whole chicken and how to use every part of it in a nose to tail approach. 

The class will last two and a half hours, during which time you’ll learn to butcher a chicken. We will use the bones to prepare a chicken stock - a fantastic base for many sauces, gravies, soups and stews, then prepare a stuffed chicken dish with a vegetable side dish. You will be able to take away the leftovers too!

Once we have prepared our dishes, we will enjoy our meal together in my tasting room. You are welcome to bring your own alcoholic beverages, if you wish. Tea, coffee and soft drinks are included.

You will be provided with recipes to take away, as well as a host of extra notes from Dotty to help you recreate the dishes at home.

This is a fun, lighthearted workshop and you don't need to be a pro-foodie to attend and enjoy!
